Thinking about training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy?
The Alliance of Psychotherapy Trainings is a new and unique collaboration of two established Psychotherapy Organisations: the Arbours Association and the Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapy (AGIP) which have pooled their experience and expertise to launch a joint training in October 2015.
On the Open Days, you will get a chance to meet Arbours and AGIP members who are involved with the training, and qualified psychotherapists who are successfully working in a variety of fields as well as private practice.
The Foundation Year will run on 10 Saturdays over the Academic Year 2015/2016.
The Full Three Year Training will commence in October 2016.
It will be taught from a pluralist perspective, and will include traditional psychotherapeutic concepts as well as thinking that has developed in the 21st Century.
We offer intensively supervised placements in one of our residential Therapeutic Communities working alongside qualified therapists, and organise individual patient referral through our Low-Cost Psychotherapy Service .
